The first sent of pics are from my JHS community festival. This was a cultural festival held at the school, didn't get to watch all of it but these were the parts that I caught:
The term 'enkai' basically refers to a Japanese drinking party. Enkais are a big part of Japanese culture and are usually held at the beginning and end of the school year as well as when a new person joins the organization. It's just a time to let your hair down and build a rapport with your co-workers outside of the office. Here are a few pics of my welcome enkai (please excuse the poor photo quality, these were taken with my phone and I was a bit tipsy lol) *no close up pics were posted for privacy purposes*
